From the collective minds of a kitchen-full of UC Davis graduate and undergraduate artists, and led by theatre-artist Geoff Sobelle, “FOOD” offers up a dreamscape cooking show that promises to sate, disgust, amuse and amaze even the most discerning of appetites.

Seven theatre artists invite you into their kitchens where they have prepared for you a singular feast of gargantuan proportion. Created specifically on Zoom for a remote audience, “FOOD” is the result of a hive-mind meditation on the fuel that keeps the modern human animal moving through the chaos we call “everyday life."

Absurd, grotesque, poignant, beautiful and bizarre - “FOOD” explores the flavors we savor, the cravings we hide, the tang we seek, the spice we serve and the smack we receive; from the empty fridge to the laden table, the starving obese to the garbage gourmand – “FOOD” will be served with a smile and a side of sharp gnashing teeth.

FOOD contains adult language and themes including cannibalism, dismemberment and self-mutilation.
