Is acceptance based on preference? For example, if we do not get our first choice but our second choice has space, can we be accepted to that program?
Dana Armstrong
50:21
UCD Students: You can meet with a financial aid advisor to get an aid estimate once the budget is published. Contact us at 530-752-5763 to set up a financial aid appointment.

If a student is graduating in winter of next year, can those students still apply?
Dana Armstrong
51:09
Nope; enrollment is first-completed, first reserved. If your first choice is full, you will be enrolled in your second choice program. If a space opens in your first choice program, you will have the opportunity to switch.

Re. graduation: if it can work for you to finish your degree in winter, talk to your college about the best status for you to be for Spring quarter and then stay enrolled through summer, if possible. You can still file for commencement ceremony in June, but then file to graduate in the system after the program ends. This will enable you to still access financial aid and pay UC tuition.
